"Not sure what the direction is anymore" is a criticism I have too, unfortunately. I'd imagine that the endgame has to do with White Diamond, but there hasn't been any sort of buildup to that.

This will be released on Deutsche Grammophon, which has me intrigued; that label is known for a typically high requirement of quality.

Most of the fourth episode is fan service. The episodes with the most character development are the first and fifth — and what we learn about certain characters in the end of the arc didn't need a four-episode buildup. This week wanders a lot.

Most of this week of Steven episodes was pointless and self-indulgent. It could've easily been condensed into a two-parter. I'll leave it at that.

This would be the perfect time for a number like that.
