Game delay is the wrong argument to use when discussing this. The change in the nature of umpiring, not to mention the questionable (to me) decision to give home run calls a status apart from other calls, are much more interesting and worthwhile grounds for debate.

All nitpicking about whether or not I like this feature (I don't) aside, I fail to see how Longoria has "struggled since joining the big club." Hitting safely in 30 of 35 games with 20 RBIs and 5 HRs coming into last night is not exactly what I'd label "struggling." At least get the baseball right, dude. Sheesh.
