Yeah, each situation is different. Right now my family has two cars.

You just described every GM product from the mid 90's that lead to them going bankrupt (almost) in 2009 when people stopped buying that crap when money went tight.
“definitely DONT google the crash tests if you own one”
Blue ‘88 MR2 with T-Tops. It had problems with the exhaust system, but otherwise was trouble free. I loved that car -- it was just fun to drive without being intrusive, so to speak.
Less a type of car than a look, but here goes:
Condoms prevent minivans kinda made my day.
Just as plenty of the most notorious horror movie killers are slow and lumbering, don’t sleep on the 20-year old minivan.
Craziest thing ever, a dealer closed on a Sunday. In California they are open 7 days a week. Some are even open on Christmas and Thanksgiving Day.
Remember the Aspire?
You are 110% correct in this assessment. The 2000s T-bird was one of those neo-retro designs, much like the Chevy SSR, Plymouth Prowler, and PT Cruiser. It just had the distinction of being way, way worse than any of those.
LOL, you are getting old.
I have a wierd case for owning a Jeep. My passion is off-roading, (need capability) I take 3 kids to school every morning, (need room) I have a 60 mile round trip commute to work (need halfway decent mileage) I cannot live without a convertible (need top-down capability) I refuse to drive an Automatic (Need manual…
You’re definitely right. I’ve been known to be the ‘all-business’ type of person. Most of my MTB/dirt bike rides are solo because I hate stopping at every intersection to shoot the shit for 30 mins.
Dang, okay. I guess it’s a me thing. It’s definitely not fun in the same way as a little car, but there’s fun to be had that can’t be matched by a lot of other vehicles.
Beat me too it. I was posting about it, when you hit submit. 100% agree. First car on my list.
I borrowed a friend’s older model, mechanically sound, manual 2 door Wrangler with the vinyl roof and doors for a few days. It was a terrible experience, and easily one of the worst vehicles I have ever driven. I’d rather drive a beat up shitbox Nissan Altima.
You beat me to it!
Hard agree. All the people disagreeing didn’t try to go from an AW11 to an SW20.
This is a 2004 Kia.
