huh, and I thought it would be the smug sense of entitlement combined with the sentient robots that would kill us all....

Because the Civic Type R technically does not exist at this moment. If the Type R was still being sold new (not holdovers) you might have a point. One can get a new GR Corolla sooner than the next Type R. The “new” one isn’t on sale yet and will be trailing from the looks. Thus past TypeR are just like the Celica GT

I would say none. Which cars are better because they can’t be enjoyed but by a few?

Rather have the GR Corolla

The vehicle would be a mobile EOC kitted out response vehicle.

One kick to the 10K OCI - I have had three oil filters fail at or before 5000mi. Two “Tear”olator and a Wix 57055 for two different vehicles. Neither was the “cheap” bargain no-name rockauto - both US made. I cut open all my canister filters (with a proper cutting tool - so I can slowly cut above the filter area near

VW (German really) door “shut” sound.

Yup. I need to get a stake in that GFY school of customer service. It is an aggressively growing segment.

1000% Agree. And as a former FXBG and District resident, decent dealerships in that area is tough to find. One might as well drive to RVA but even those decent ones are disappearing.

I like that green. It would almost make the front clip worth it. Almost.

IDK - I would think that maximizing access for a limited space would be useful, otherwise week keep marching to crossovers with swooped cargo areas. Long wheelbase “hatch” would be a wagon for those concerned about space.

car DEALERs are worried about higher prices...

Simple, why is the real 2-door coupe have a trunk? The Grand Coupe a hatch and the real 5 series being the real car/trunk.

Saw one this weekend, it is worse... way worse in person. This one was green. I just kinda stopped and stared of how much was both blocked off as well as grill....

My guess, nothing take your eyes off the road like Ferrari’s gated shifts.

I think it will slowly kill off the lesser 2.0 Supra first. I am more worried about the 86.

372 torques huh....

The best thing Toyota can do is to get back to making a billion of them over a long time- that should solve the mark-ups if everyone has a dozen or so.

“Stiffer” suspension was kinda a myth it really didn’t have. It was “stiffened” but still a super-soft suspension (compared to other now base competitors) now with less travel. So you got the liability of a soft suspension and less travel without the benefit. So it would cause weight transfer (especially forward)
