True, but don’t install them on a 370Z or you will have a different problem....

So, for some reason, gas ford transits have a rubber fuel filler neck. Made running a paratransit service really tough at times. Folks like to try and cut those just at the tank and then siphon/drain the tank. Then I would have a vehicle out of service for a few days.

Lol, I wonder if you are in a state where the DMV is quietly run by a private company on contact. THOSE are the worst. Not government employees, private low-bid contractors.

How about this: Pre-purchase inspection.

Naw, that is NoVa. If you can go 75, fine but most likely it is 25. Law of averages rules that court.

Yeah, I saw those pictures and said, that isn’t VA, that is DC’s Nat. Cathedral. I get it that they are going to Va, but it is misleading. At least they got Arlington VA in some of the later shots. RVA native who lived in DC, it was easy to spot - kinda like how Top Gear’s BRP/East Coast Roadtrip’s DC montage was

Simple, with shortages why would a manufacturer shift from a car that they make only a few $ (and I do mean like single/double digit profit) or worse, lose money per vehicle soold vs a high margin “SUV”/car with hundreds.

Maybe the most interesting was the Ford Maverick... and me thinking how much over MSRP they had to go to get it.

It wasn’t. That is a forum myth. It wasn’t even a wink and a nod by some engineering interns somewhere. It is some ILX owners/fans trying to create a faux narrative. The use if “I” is not integra. It is anything else. Incredible, Impressive, Intelligent, Individual.

The RSX was an Integra (in all but North America nomenclature). Which is kinda my point. Even then there was 5 or 6 years between the Integra/RSX and the ILX. The RSX had a JDM Integra, the ILX didn’t.

Can’t say for all, but my private 3rd party drivers ed “test” in Virginia amounted to driving across the street to a Home Depot and waiting in the parking lot for the Instructor to finish his shopping. About an hour and half later, he came back to the car and we drove across the street back to the office. ALL THREE of

I KNOWS WHATS I GOTS!

Would almost work if the RSX wasn’t in the middle of that. And really, Honda wanted to promote the name “acura” more than it wanted to promote a model name. But that was an actual “integra” in all but name, the ILX was North American-only vehicle with no integra connections.

ehhh

Myth. AW11 and Lotus connection (back then) is more of a myth. The AW11 was basically all toyota and the only connection was that Roger Becker was somehow involved with some suspension work but the Esprit and the AW11 are about as close kin as a Pontiac Vibe and a Modle S. If anything, there is more Supra links or

So, like Musk but less of a prick.

More Planelopnik but...

Considering how the Current Camry TRD is, gasp, a decent hoonable car with that one exception.... the tall transmission is horrible.

First, I will mock any/all of the 536 village idiots sent to DC. But your example normally is the cake-topper idiot from a policy development side.

Those economically disadvantage/vunerable have already been hit. The last 7 years of rising rent, vehicle prices, cost-of-living. These folks have already been transit dependent since the last recession and all other price increases continue to solidify that need. Gas prices only hit if you have to drive a long way
