The LOTR films literally had software invented to create giant armies that looked realistic, and that software has had 20 years of improvements and revisions since then, so it’s very disappointing to see TROP either not use that software or to not use it correctly.

Aren’t these tournaments being conducted virtually via webcam and computer?

The Kingdom makes announcements like this every few years and they never go anywhere. Last time it was that they were going to build the tallest building in the world by building a structure more than double the Burj Khalifa, then when it was pointed out how structurally unsound it would be, they said, well, no, it’s

We had HBO so I saw lots of stuff on TV at home, but as for the first R rated theater experience, it’s hard to remember, and some things I thought were rated R I’m looking back and seeing were actually PG-13. I think it might have been either Air Force One or Eraser. Both pretty average 90s action movies.  I was

I loved Crossroads of Time when I was a little kid and I received it as a gift. I never saw an episode of DS9 until years later, but someone knew I liked Star Trek TNG and saw that game and got it for me for my birthday, and I had no idea who any of the characters were or the background, but it was a simple fun game,

Blue Bothers and its awful sequel are definitely action movies by measure of the number of practical effects and stunts. They smashed up a lot of very real vehicles making both movies.  So good inclusion on this list!

Pacific Rim 2 is wildly awful.  The original was fun and fresh and while it probably doesn’t hold up as well years later, it was worth watching then.  The sequel is just trash.

I was just thinking about this. He does a great job as an off-putting discomforting character, but those roles should NOT be the starring role at the center of any film. In part because subjecting people to 90+ minutes of Jared Leto being off-putting is banned by the Geneva Convention, but also because those

The third act felt like a plot from a half baked Iron Eagle sequel.

Reunite Pangaea! Restore Appalachia to its original glory!

Given the era we are currently living through, stories about processing grief are really kind of essential. For example, Wandavision was a beautiful exploration of grief and how it changes us. Watching the Matrix trailer, I definitely got this vibe of Neo as a man dealing with grief and being unable to move past the

A small amount of research would reveal that her youtube channel contains longer versions of the videos seen on tik tok and instagram where she regularly uses power tools and a flir cam and other tools of the trade, and sometimes wears a beekeeping hood if dealing with an aggressive hive or swarm.

The best part is that they could probably get Lars Mikkelsen to play Thrawn. His voice acting was such a strong part of Thrawn menacing nature in Rebels, and Lars is an accomplished actor who would have no trouble bringing the character to live action.

This guy Erowids.

I agree entirely. Three winters ago I got the Influenza A variant that wasn’t included in that year’s flu shot but which ended up being something of a problem that season. I got it while in Las Vegas for CES and it was coming on really strong during my last two days there and especially during my flight home. On my 6

I just laughed at the idea of Henry in full wardrobe with his wig on and color contacts in, sitting at a gaming rig crammed into a tiny desk in an on-set trailer while he waits between shots.

Hundreds seems like a low estimate. It seems like there are way more than that on some of the groups I’ve seen.

He was only a US attorney from September 1997 to January 2001 and began his federal prosecution of that case in early 1998 because it was a priority of his from the moment he took office. He was never a prosecutor for the state of Alabama. The state of Alabama failed to bring justice for decades. It took a federal

It should be noted that Doug Jones, the man who put this bastard in prison for the rest of his life, is up for re-election in Alabama this year, with a likely opponent of....(checks notes)... confederate namesake, former trump AG, and guy who thinks the KKK is fine except for when they smoke weed, Jefferson Beauregard
