His name was removed from some recent X-men properties and I suspect his producer credit will be removed from the upcoming Dark Phoenix film which is written and directed by Simon Kinberg. It seems X-men is done with him and without that he’s really irrelevant.

But the cost of production is super low on it. The sets are really cheap, the special effects look like they were made with Adobe After Effects, and I get that the cheap aesthetic is meant to be part of its appeal but it’s also part of its plan for survival, by being exceptionally cheap to produce.
