actually, that’s psychopaths. Sociopaths are sometimes charming for a while, but usually lose control of their emotions and end up isolated. Psychopaths are much better at hiding their feelings - that’s what makes them psychopaths as opposed to ordinary sociopaths.

psychopathy is for sure, yes, a mental disorder. It’s not a diagnosis in DSM V (the diagnosis would be anti social personality disorder) but anyone assessed as a psychopath is by definition mentally ill. Yes.
