Got about 17 hours in this game so far, TONS of little things to discover/unlock. Game was definitely worth $29.99 (i traded Killzone straight up for it). The whole "hurr hurr, game is only 2 hours" mentality is pretty ridiculous.

No, you are wrong. "Equality" by many people's definition means "exclusively for their specific niche/race/gender".
Pleasepleaseplease tell me there's plans for a game developer's conference equivalent to the Lillith Fair. That would be so awesome, specially if there's a 24/48/72hr game-making challenge.
You didn't luck out of anything if you've never played MGS4.
Which is seriously some ol bullshit. Like, if you're the unlucky one who takes the next customer in line and he wants to cancel a preorder? Tough luck. That whole company must be a disaster to work for.
I have nothing against tattoos, but this is just fucking stupid.
It is a really great game. I takes a bit to get into because it is more about production and resource chain management then it is city building. If you have problems I recommend a YouTube guide series by NanoSuitNinja. The first video is here:
>It's the same hyper violent over sexualized crap we see everywhere.
The image of a woman in torn leggings and a bra, strapped to a chair and prodded with electrically-charged batons, is certainly provocative, as is the sort of blood-and-guts splattershow that occurs near the end of Ground Zeroes. But is this really the kind of provocation that benefits the Metal Gear series? Kojima…
"I wonder whether it's necessary or worthwhile..."
Conversely, as a person who played and finished GZ, I can tell you all up front that this game is worth money!
Seriously, me too. Like, I even have to explain major plot points to my friend, and he loves Metal Gear Solid as much as I do. Like, seriously, guys, pay attention! It's convoluted and messy, yes, but it's not impossible to understand on your own!
Try Kingdom Hearts storyline.
Metal Gear is a constantly growing lore. Spider-Man, Batman and plenty other lore fictional universes are filled with inconsistencies and retcons as well.
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who can understand Metal Gear Solid's storyline.
I forgot, people who are interested in video games are only interested in video games, and don't enjoy hearing about things that might interest them based on their known interests.
This makes it a lot harder for me to wander into idiots arguing about sexism in cosplay. Thank you, Kotaku.
Power user here.
I like windows 8.1 Sorry if you don't.
