Oh shit, Shadows of the Empire made otherwise scary Star Wars monsters even scarier! I think it was the blurry faces of the character models and their rigid body movements. I like to liken a lot of what made N64 games creepy unintentionally to what makes Silent Hill 1-3 creepy on purpose.
