Absolutely! You're making the right decision. Like I said, I'm still waiting to see which one will bring the biggest bang for the buck too, particularly since they exist at the same price point now. I am loyal to Nintendo only (so I'm out about $400 per generation haha) because I love their IPs and they haven't failed

I haven't, but I will definitely re-download once I grab a new PS4. That's actually why I went out of my way to get Zen coins! Them being refunded to you after the beta was a great boon. I love that. And I need them because like a n00b I spend coins on two Heroes. Stupid stupid stupid...

But, oh wait, shit, the PC port is trash. Maybe they'll patch it? Probably should wait for that...

This game is such a Dark Horse, but I am now so psyched to play it. Might have to push back buying Drakengard and get this instead.

Oh. And also, I get made fun of a lot on Facebook.

I bought mine at launch— the black version with 32GB of memory, of course. Anyone who knows me can tell you I'm a die-hard Nintendo fan. Particularly memorable of that day was that I had just started working at GameStop and my good friend was ringing me out to buy the console— and she darn near refused. She hates

Yeah! That did look really good. I read about that though and that's massively disappointing. If Microsoft hadn't gutted Rare's team (not that they did it on purpose many just left after the deal was completed) all they would have to do is turn them loose and they'd have tons of creative, colorful IPs.

They're fine, but I can get arguably superior versions of Titanfall and Trials Fusion on PC (also a problem with many PS4 games, mind you) and FM5/ Killer Instinct don't interest me.

Exactly. And so far..... M'mmmm nope.

Oh, nice! There we go then. It's just tough thus far to really know from trailers what the next-gen benchmark really is. To wit, the only real console exclusive next-gen games on PS4 so far are Killzone and inFamous and neither are really incredibly demanding.

It would be very honest of Sony if this is PS4 footage, but I doubt very much that it is. Whenever there's a multiplatform game that's being released on PC, most trailers use spec'd-up PC footage.

Off-topic, but why is it most Japanese websites still look like websites from the late-90's and early 2000's? Whenever I go to the website of, say, a game or anime studio it looks like a Geocities site.

Cool, now all you need to do is show me some games that are worth a piss and I'll consider an Xbox One.

I'm really, really bummed out this short film won't be included, but I still have that box set pre-ordered. Miyazaki in glorious Blu-Ray is a thing to behold.

So I've been told. I can believe that, but I'm pretty sure the LNs still have all the waifuism of the anime and more.

I bought my PS4 just after the launch of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. It was really just a coencidence, as I already had the game on my PS3 and was satisfied with it, but I only had to spend nearly $200 on my PS4 so I went ahead and picked it up again, along with some PSN credit for Towerfall and maybe some Zen

Say what incorrect things you will about the characters, but the art design in Miyazaki films are not to be fucked with.

And Osamu Tezuka.

That sounds exactly like the plot of Kiki, Ponyo, The Wind Rises, and Porco Rosso. Very astute observation.

It's very possible Miyazaki does this intentionally. If you look at the Osamu Tezuka manga/ films/ series, you'll see a similar phenomena. What he called it was his "star system," wherein he essentially treats certain character designs as "actors" who appear over several of his works to fill various roles. I actually
