I have a friend whose father was a pilot at a major airline and they had the same policy for passes used by family and friends. In the early 2000's when we flew, his father asked us to wear dress pants and shirts because we were representing the company. His father also said if we didn’t look nice, they would let us…
In December of 2000 I bought a brand new 2001 Nissan Sentra SE (2.0L) that matched this car and it was a great little car. It seems everyone is saying the G20 was underpowered, but look at any compact car of the time and you will find very few that had more torque than it, including the Civic Si and the Acura RSX. It…
How does government involvement in shady investment practices with public money even sound anything like capitalism? I know you did qualify it by saying “American” capitalism, but that is like saying “Russian communism”. Each of the phrases are better known for their dichotomy than their cooperation due to the way the…
While I can agree with your truck assessment, I believe you are looking at the wrong end of a crash by stating how sturdy your cars are. A truck is generally better off in a crash because of the larger mass and the increased likelihood of crashing into something smaller than it.
Tried to watch the video on my mobile and it required me to login to Facebook to watch the video. Worked fine on my PC, even in incognito mode, so I don’t know why I had to login to Facebook on my mobile to watch it.
I drove an MKZ for a weekend and at the end of the weekend, I could shift it without looking. It’s not like the buttons are virtual and on a non-tactile screen.
We had the same brake issue on our 2007 Nissan Quest. The brakes were too small for the weight of the vehicle. After 20,000 miles they machined the warped front rotors under warranty. At 30k the warped front rotors were replaced under warranty.
My co-worker pre-ordered the Focus RS last year thinking it was exactly what he wanted. He currently has an older model Focus ST that he really likes and thought the Focus RS would be a perfect replacement, but more fun and more power. I am not sure why he didn’t test drive one before his order came in.
I have a co-worker that finally go delivery on his Ford Focus RS after 13 months. He took it for the initial drive and left it at the dealership.
I go to bed if I am tired or it is after midnight and I should get some sleep. I am one of those jerks that can fall asleep most nights within 60 seconds of my head hitting the pillow.
What!?!?!?! That is terrible... I can’t believe the Brits would download a show for free, especially when it is the world’s greatest car show. If the Brits had the world’s greatest car show, I would make sure I obtained it legally. Those cheap Brits!
For many of you this will mean much less road head. For me, much, much more.
My apologies for the misunderstanding. My comment was meant for everyone, even myself. I have a good friend, a cousin, and a neighbor that I stood in line with for over an hour to vote that all have vastly different opinions than me and I realized, while writing that comment, that I avoid certain conversations with…
There are some people that voted for Hillary, were surprised that Trump won, and have posted (on other sites) that they see this as a learning experience. They recognize that the American people are grouping themselves in silos of like-minded people and so they believe that everyone thinks like them.
I think this is an absolutely terrible idea. Taking cues from the driver in a moment of panic to try and avoid a crash? I hope they make this system smart enough that it will never attempt to cross a double yellow line or even cross to the other side of an unmarked road to avoid a rear end collision. There are many…
Haggling is an integral part of buying and selling. If you are buying something, no matter what it is, and you are not haggling then you are wasting money or time. Wasting money by paying the “Suggested Retail Price” (note the word “Suggested”) or wasting time by not buying the item you really want and looking for it…
The real treat would be to get the Platinum seat that has the full range of movement, plus the massage. The Raptor seat is nice, but it is just a lesser seat with no massage.
It looks to me like the driver was trying to get out of the car wash, but the rear wheels were suck on something. You can see the van halt briefly at the beginning of the gif, then lurch forward when the driver gives it the beans to overcome the vehicle being stuck. Add water, and cheap tires and you have a recipe for…
Yeah, I am always surprised when I read articles about them several months after I have driven one. Some vehicles just seem to have a longer lead time than others to production.
