Civ and ONI why can’t tell ya but having a good time

Agree with your argument that the crux of this is the store exclusivity piece, can argue it happens with consoles all the time but that is a different beast. Generally speaking in RL if I want to buy a game I don’t need to research which physical retailer has the contract to sell the game. I show up and expect it to

Was going to say something akin to this that my primary piece of advice for new comp builders. Which is understand your order of operations for getting something set up. Then when you hit a snag it should be quicker to adjust when you hit a snag. Also always assume first you messed something up, hardware failure

think your missing the point not about steam bros, people just want to get a game where they want to a get a game and don’t like have to move their gaming lives across platforms cause of an exclusive. Not saying Steam is great or that taking 30% is fair practice but I got a lifetime of games and friends spanning

legally speaking you are your wife and vice versa, so should be solid.

I agree, think Anthem has been getting a hard wrap, definitely not a pristine release but lets not joke around that that loot shooters are some high-brow form of gaming. It is the equivalent of a Chuck Norris or Van Damme movie, you do some fun stuff/blow up a few things/ collect purply things/ and move on after

That was really well done, been having a blast with BF5 and the tides of war set up. Hopefully it doesn’t get kneecapped on the scope of content with EA’s stock getting slammed over its sales.

It is proper etiquette to seat your party before the demise of the meal? It is all very confusing, I don’t want them to feel awkward

In this trying time I also suggest everyone in midwest brush up on their cannibalism etiquette.

On the most steams of purchasing venues. Its good fun if you like those type of games.

Hi Gita,

Hey FOT at least had R. Lee Ermey doing some timeless voice acting, I hear no such upside for 76.

people are still watching commercials?

Bummer, however Hawk has a pretty good set up if he’s just that guy who gets mistaken for Tony Hawk a lot. Imo best type of famous is someone that is relatively easily recognizable but no one really recognizes them when they are enjoying a cup of coffee or going to the park with their kids. Like the movie trailer

Good call out, imo I am unsure if a dance move counts as choreography. Think the difference between using a line from a song versus taking the whole song. Like if I use the phrase “The hills are alive with the sound of music” is that copyright infringement on the Sound of Music? I see it in a similar light, while the

Thank you Jason, think this is the excited I have been for a game announcement in a long time, so glad to see the Fallout Legacy members back in the saddle on some great content. Totally ready to bye Felicia Bethesda after F4 and 76

Definitely agree, dance and it being transformative is tricky ground, I mean what would qualify as one? Will be interested to see where this goes, at least on the moral grounds of cultural appropriation I think isn’t ethical behavior by Epic. However, how does anyone even copyright/lay claim to IP for dance moves?

woow don’t need to get all insulting, less you are copyright lawyer than good on you bro. However, I go off of this for fair use.

so is everyone doing a Star Wars parody, from the simpsons to news anchors dressed up for halloween doing unethical behavior? Reason why IP has noted exceptions for parodying, which think Epic has a decent argument this is.

Not sure if this got called out at all, but from my understanding most of these IP have noted exceptions for parodying, which I feel there are some compelling bits of that could cover it. IMO totally up for folks getting compensation for their IP, but on the flip side if this is parodying I personally side with Epic,
