Mason himself has been transformed by his experiences and he revels in that transformation. His current face is the face of the apex predator, not his old one.

Is it!

You mean how long it took him to figure out that Hannibal was Il Mostro 20 years ago, or how long it took him to realize that Dr. Fell is the same person?

The bathroom Jack and Will talk in —> The Shining. Also the bathroom where they find the guy who had his organs harvested.

Well, in this case history worked like that in large part because Hannibal made it so, no doubt because it pleased him to do so. He was bringing up parallels every chance he could get.

what in god's name

Let's not start. There are so many.

Winston and Jack team up to fight dog crime!

Every time Jack shoved Hannibal through a pane of glass I thought of Beverly.

I believe it was "To Be Continued…Sorry."

I'M STILL MAD ABOUT THAT. Cruel, show. Cruel.

I am weirdly compelled to quote Supernatural. "If it bleeds, you can kill it."

The end of copy editing in most media (including even academic publishing a lot of the time) is my actual cross to bear. I used to work as a copy editor and once you've done it you can't remove those pedantic goggles (or at least I can't), so I am constantly wincing.

Unusually, I disagree with many of the points here. I don't think Jack was drawn to Hannibal initially through investigative prowess; I don't believe Alana's new look and manner is only a facade (and I think putting the changes she has undergone in terms of "is she still a good person or not" is both simplistic and

I mean, that was some very suggestive dialogue from Margot…

I had no idea, so thanks for this.

We can only hope. SNAIL CORPSE PLEASE, BRYAN

I knew Jack was alive too, but was still interested to notice how he was different from his old self. (I would really like some closure re: Bella, but I'm glad they didn't try to shoehorn it in with a line instead of giving it some proper time.)

I maintain we haven't seen the dogs because they were always a big part of Will keeping himself anchored, and we're supposed to be seeing how removed from normal life he is at this point.

And you guys just have to tell the rest of us all about it without so much as a warning. (I'm not really that bothered but it seems ironic.)
