No, Angel didn't end with them dying in an alley. It ended with them fighting in an alley, even if it was a hopeless fight. The world didn't grind them down - they were continuing the fight no matter what, against all odds, without any hope and gain. That was kinda the whole point of the show, really.

Hey, it's not really GRRM, it's D&D. In the books, your version is very likely to happen.

I still ship Greg and Rebecca after the season premiere, but then, I get a kick out of messy romances, I just can't help myself.

Cheating? What? Ethan and Vanessa were not in any kind of a committed relationship! Actually, he was the one to choose to leave at the end of s2. She certainly didn't owe him anything, so no, her relationship with Dr. Sweet cannot be called cheating, at all.

Guggenheim did say Thanagarians won't be the Big Bad of season 2. Granted, the dude has a reputation for being less than completely truthful, but… I choose to believe him this time. Hawkpeople sucked.

Two words: Buffy. "Helpless".

Oh shit, now I'm all sad because it has never even occurred to me.

I kinda want more than a cameo. I got hooked on him in Daredevil s2. Matt can go die in a fire for all I care.

There are so many similarities between Sara Lance and Elektra on DD that it's not even funny.

He has a son. I assume we'll get to see him eventually.

Not really.

I don't have any and I'm not planning to either, but I legit tear up at this monologue. So no, it's not dependent on having kids at all (unlike many fictional scenarios involving kids I've encountered).

I'm with you. I didn't care much for s1, but so far, s2 is a huge improvement in all respects. I wanted to go to bed after one episode… only got asleep at 4AM. S1 took me like two weeks to get through.

But the priest also calls him Matthew.

It sure seems like Asha, errr, Yara. She was straight in the books, but it's not like D&D care.

I've been waiting for this quote since the pilot.

I liked "Hawkward".

I'm ready to quit Homeland after the last season finale. I'm only watching for confirmation that this character is really dead (but even if he isn't, I can't imagine how they could bring him back from that). The season has really tested my patience, other than some great work by Miranda Otto.

My thoughts exactly. I've hated Moffat's run (well, s5, couldn't watch after that) but Chibnall, the showrunner of the awful two seasons of Torchwood and the execrable Camelot? That's just painful.

As a huge fan of Psycho-Pass I actually suspect it could have made for a good concept for a western TV show (very few anime shows do). And also, it's so much better than this dreck, both in concept and execution.
