It’s made over $30 million more than Killers of the Flower Moon, so by your metric The Marvels was a better film than Scorsese’s latest.

This is excellent eye bleach after looking at the Cybertruck.

Shhhhh. Hush now. Let’s all spend some time with this 2.7 RS.

Agreed - I think this brief opinion seems to go out of its way to downplay what is not just a legit marketing spectacle, but truly noteworthy performance. Whether the 911 was the slowest model or not, it got smoked by a pickup pulling another car on a trailer. I’m not a Tesla owner or even a fan, but I think it’s OK

I have no idea what is more obnoxious and nauseating these days:

Vehicle that costs the same as a Porsche beats Porsche in drag race while towing another Porsche?

I mean, it’s impressive, if nothing else. All drag races are spectacle, really.

I’m willing to accept many metrics for whether a film is good or not, but fuck no, how much money it made is not one of them. That’s a metric of its success as a product, and I don’t care about that. ‘The Marvels’ is a film that made me happy, so therefore, for me, it was good.

All the Alfa Romeo owners may have simply been stuck on the side of the road and unable to respond to the survey.

I can see why Brie Larson wants out of this bullshit part of the industry.

People like him? Oh honey, the “producers” who hang out on set and fuck up creative decisions are several orders of magnitude below where someone like Iger sits. He wouldn’t even know their names.

I’ve owned VWs, my mom owns a VW.  They have terrible reliability and are expensive to fix.  I for one will not own another.  I don’t have particularly high standards but VW could not even make those.  Based on my co-workers experiences I a bit surprised that there are now BMWs on the list.

Has anything, ever, in any industry been better because of more micro-managing from higher ups?

Not bad coding, they just want to make sure the ads load so they get paid.

Stellantis products have reliability issues??!!! Well I for one, am just shocked. Shocked I tell you; flabbergasted, gobsmacked, befuddled, dumbfounded, mystified, perplexed, and stunned.

Consumer Reports has always had a weird thing with Volkswagens. I remember laughing with my dad way back when because CR dinged an 80s Jetta for requiring an extra crank to roll up the window than whatever it’s competitor was at the time.

is it just me that I have to click on next several times to move to the next item? or is it a cheap trick to get more clicks?

Shane Black invented action movies at Christmas.

I’m too old for this “Is Die Hard a Christmas movie? shit.

Are we forgetting Shane Black?

Best Christmas Action Movie.
