Elvis was only 23 when he lost his mother (who he was very close to). She was only 46 when she died of a heart attack. Truly generational trauma going on. I hope Lisa’s surviving children are going to be okay with this. Her twins are only 14.

Sounds like an interesting story. Wish I could read about it.

truly, that quote of her coming to grasp the impact of the generational trauma her father left them with is at least hope that she was finding some sort of peace with it all in the past few years.

She lost her son, Ben, to suicide a few years ago.  This poor woman had a rough go of it.  RIP.

RIP Lisa. Could not have been easy being the daughter of Elvis.

i think the OP’s overall critique goes a bit deeper though—like, even the original games were never great stealth games. people treat the gaming experience like it was this pure assassin experience, despite it always being rather on rails. the comparison to Hitman never stuck because the AI in the AC games is not very

You know you have the ability to not click on a link, right?

So this may be slightly off topic, but how come no AC game (in the main franchise) has ever taken place anywhere in east Asia? They never go east of Arabia, choosing to do.. Pirates of the Caribbean and the american revolutionary war(???) over places with actual assassin myths like Japan, China, India, etc. And what’s

Honestly I think the most fun I’ve had in the AC games was in Brotherhood when Ezio is basically just a walking force of nature and can either just stealth kill everybody via gadgets or summoning his assassins or he can just counter kill 600 dudes in a row.

My concern is that the “Assassin” stuff in the AC games hasn’t really fared well since the end of Ezio.

I mean, yeah, that’s the problem. They’ve strayed quite far from their roots and that’s why a lot of people are dissatisfied with the recent games and why those people are happy it’s going back to being more like the older games in the series. The change in direction this article is discussing is a direct response to

it would be nice if they’d make a smaller more focused one that still lets me play a girl

Just here for the comments bitterly moaning about “why are we talking about this” as they drive up engagement ensuring the content continues to generate coverage.

Don’t care about any of this but am amused the article photo is from the stream she did when she visited my rock climbing gym. I could recognize those shop windows from even a tiny thumbnail.

There’s also decidedly a massive difference between coerced NSFW content, and voluntary NSFW content

I think many people assume because she is the one on camera there is no one else.  Like many big streamers, ESPECIALLY ones as big as her, have a whole cadre of people behind the scenes on her payroll.

Oh okay, so your take away from this is that you are in a position to advise a woman who has only recently divorced from an abusive partner.

I was hoping she would stick to NSFW stuff, not because I’m interested in it, but because it would send a message that she is now doing this of her own volition and not because she’s being coerced / forced to. The fact that she is talking about eventually separating from it entirely makes me so sad, because that shows

Yeah. Going to need you not to say that anymore.”
