Agreed. People have been blowing this story out of proportion, not realizing what Ken's position and job duties likely were since he and his partners sold back in 2008 or so. His role as creative director should have been far removed from the departments handling budget and company infrastructure.

Another thought that Talgrath pointed out: Ken's position likely did not allow for him to make a judgment call like shutting down a studio. As I told another commenter on a different article:

Even in a football game, the one making the strategic moves for the team is the coach, not the quarterback. Ken is the quarterback here. Take Two is the coach. We can infer from his statements all we like, but at the end of the day, Ken was just calling plays and guiding his team to victory. He was "hired on" just

I just added those 6 videos to a YouTube Travel playlist, I'll be watching them tonight on my PS3. What a cool story! I'll have to look up Kintaro's race online.

My main problem with Ken is not that he's decided to move onto smaller projects or that he's had enough of working in a very large development house, which after being in the same work environment for nearly 2 decades is understandable, it's that he gets to keep his job, a core team, his publishing deal and presumably

I was just about to comment on this, but you reached it first.

Awesome advice, thanks for the reply!

...there was only one episode that truly focused on that repeating loop of failure and the inkling dread that the time leap won't save them, while the rest focused on undoing the damage caused from the time machine. Not saying that's new or original, but it certainly was not poorly done. I can understand if you didn't

Thanks for the great suggestions! I'm prepping for my trek across Japan and South Korea in the summer right now actually, these ideas will be put to good use. Everyone should travel! It's living in motion, the essence of life itself.

Unless you build a lifestyle or career around travel, which is what I'm aiming to do. I spent all of October 2013 working a contract job from hostels across Costa Rica and Panama. An amazing experience, incredible new friends from across the globe, and a peace of mind that only comes from plunging into semi-calculated

This is why we can't have nice things.

Oh I agree, he was a horrible character and made no sense as a guest (other than a throwback to Metal Gear on NES? Ehhhh. There were better options out there.

Bayonetta replacing Solid Snake?...I'm game.

Thought of this one. That Pete Seeger, man.

I don't even see how those millions of hits benefit them, since they now have to maintain a highly integrated web application that's core to the game, on top of the servers themselves, and for what? The already paying customers who are likely aware of your DLC schemes and Premium offers you continuously push down

GIVE YOUR 3DS A CHANCE MAN (OR WOMAN)

I doubt anyone's arguing that there isn't a lot of detail in this series, and if anyone is then they're fooling themselves. But just because you have a story to tell doesn't mean it will be engaging by default. Most people's criticisms - as far as I can tell - stem from things that are indeed subjective, but are no

It's refreshing to see someone not totally familiar with the medium actually give props to that which seems absurd.
