Even David Freiburger explained this at least twice on roadkill and one of his other appearances on motortrend’s YouTube videos.

The riders actually where at fault. Even the ones not wheelying(?) and stunting still ride in their group, that wouldn’t be a general problem, but: they had a truck with people specifically filming the riders, so in one way or another it was organised as an event that would involve behaviour that’s worth to be caught…
I’m not a motorbyclist myself, yet I know some. None of which treat the roads as if it’s their personal playground. I’m totally on the police’s side when they shut down events like these. In my eyes it’s similar to street racing. And most likely it’s the same show off mentality, be it with cars or bikes or skateboards…
I just read it again and came to the same conclusion. I had some suggestion articles on Facebook that claimed Leblanc is sacked. So I didn't take so much care reading ...
Fred from dirt every day drove one of these through some sort of difficult off road track. As far as I recall the one he used only had different tyres on it. Maybe a lift kit. Or they said they are going to make a lift kit for these.
Joey (Matt Leblanc) isn't part of the team anymore...
I really got excited when they announced Matt Leblanc, now he got fired, and None of the possible presenters left seem to be able to be entertaining enough (for my expectations for a top gear show).
Couldn't a mustang body sit rather easily on a ranchero chassis?
I easily get under that with 60hp, and a wobbly chassis. So whatever kind of spirited driving I could do would just look like normal speeds in any other vehicle.
What's NOTW?
The most stupid thing about this show is the pretend drama and bitching that they got going on. And if you watch it on German tv you get a voice over translation made by people who either don't know anything about cars or hate street racing so much that they make this terrible to watch on purpose.
Are these limited or just really badly engineered. I've driving cars with half the power reaching that speeds and above. Not as fast to 60 though. But quick enough to get where I want to.
In Berlin we have people driving their own, rented or borrowed AMG Mercs, M BMWs, S/RS badged Audis and whatnot, in triple digit speeds in the inner city. Sometimes actually racing another car, other times just showing off at crowded shopping streets in the inner city. At weekends you’ll also see several motorbikes…
A couple of weeks back we had an incident in Berlin with an S class Mercedes and an unspecified Audi racing through the inner city at night running red lights and killing a another driver in a crash. A witness said he saw the s classes speedometer being stuck at over 120mph.
I use this thing here in the Facebook app on iOS. Works good most of the time and it remembers the sign and everything.
Because chips don't work with carburettors.
I took that off a forum where people discussed the advantages off turbos over superchargers in search for more power in their car.
“Supercharger are driven by the alternator”, “Diesel engines don’t need an alternator while running because they don’t need electricity to ignite the fuel” (which can be true technically, if the fuel pump and injector pump run mechanically, but on a modern TDI...), “my car goes xyz kph, and your measurement with your…
The emission are EU regulated. A single country can not do a lot about these. It’s a bit like, say Michigan, trying to change EPA rules for their cars.
