That's a czech car, not a german one. But still nice to see! Air-cooled rear engine V8 for the win!

Whenever somebody shows me a car stunt related video on youtube, I make them watch a Gigi Galli video in return. Most don't understand the difference between a set up stunt/ trick environment and a maneuver one just pulls during a race.

I'd even say something like 40-60/70/80/... would be far more important then acceleration from a standing start. Or if you're cross-countrying at high speed probably 60-120. But theese numbers are probably really hard to get.

No electric starter? No cup holders?

I was once pulled over by a cop who asked me "Did you just turn right at this intersection with squeeling tyres?" The pavement was wet from rain and I was driving an '03 Smart car with a really happy stability control that would normally slow you down way before tires like to start to squeel. Also it was dark, so I

Two-stroke with valves?

A properly set up BMW V12 should be close to a McLaren F1, no?

That's bad. The worst things I've heard is a dealer not resetting the oil change/service counter while the car was in for a full service and a shop totally stripping a cars interior on a Friday knowing the car is going to be needed at the weekend.

You're probably just not very good with manual transmissions.

So why would you be entertained by an automatic rev matching on a manual?

I would not like rev matching on a manual transmission. I'd like it either to be automatic with rev matching for quick downshifts or manual with manual rev matching for sporty manual downshifts. That's the fun of a manual car.

I think the ignition code thing could be had until the e38 was facelifted. It was always a joy to see a car with that many buttons as a kid

Also the Stanceons or Stance Park for the teenagers.

"upsetting the car to load directional forces and start breaking traction" was the phrase I was looking for :D

I thought you need to 'roll' the car from one side to the other, like first a quick steer to the left, then to the right and let the car turn.

At least on the regular smart cars until now, the seating position is rather high, being a bit over bumper height of a 'normal' car, and given most t bone crashes happen on cities and not at highway speed I'd give the smart passengers a good chance, much less in the smart roadster or cross blade.

This test was done with a series of small cars from the 90s (it was a test from the 90s or maybe very early 2000s), and if I remember correctly the smart was far off being the worst choice.

The smart has a rear engine, with the crash structure kinda feeding the energy around the passengers into the engine mounts. I don't know how this could take acceleration off the passengers, but that's what they claim is does. Also I think making the car bounce off of the other car helps the passengers, because you're

Now playing

That was done before, a German car mag (auto motor und sport) did it with a '98 or '99 Smart and the then brand new S class. The Smart fell over, bcs a rim broke and the spokes hooked to the asphalt when it was pushed out of the S classes way. Both cars did 50kph (30mph), both driver and passenger in the Smart would

That's right, I guess it's an exageration to make a point. But as far as fashion in this show goes, I think more of flip flops while driving high horsepower cars and baseball caps. :D
