Kevin Samuels has also plagiarized heavily from published works by Mode One’s Alan Roger Currie. Samuels is not to be trusted or esteemed in any regard.

My favorite part about Kevin Samuels and guys like him, is that they actually believe their audience is “high value men”, who have trouble navigating the dating world as successful objects of desire for women. In reality, the only people who believe the garbage they peddle are insecure, fragile men who can’t get

Not all Black men are worthy of defense and this motherfucker does nothing but profit on misogynoir. He’s a disgusting pig. We could do less with articles about him but the idea that trashing him is some issue with Black feminism is wrong. He belongs in the damn sewer.

I probably could’ve just commented on your FB page...but I felt like I should bring it back to where it all began– The Comment Section. Thank you for taking a chance on me. I won’t do any long dramatic take... but everything you did...I will never forget.

This is literally about to make me cry.

Nothing good lasts forever.  I can include VBS on that list, but not you, Panama.  Keep doing you.  I’ll find ya.

Salute to you Damon and Liz.

Thank you for reading the source article. Your summary is solid, although I would have liked a sentence about how Trogan lost his union status because of his recent categorical switch from adjunct instructor, mostly because I’m concerned we don’t value workers and unions enough in the national discourse.

Sssh, you are going to get Noah fired for mixing up the name. /s

Yep and the conservatives won for most parts on that front, especially with Minneapolis’ Question 2 being denied by our voters.

I knew from the jump calling it that would backfire. I hate that branding matters so much.

Correct. PC originated with old lefties who would make fun of their fellow leftists who took themselves too seriously. The right stole this as they often steal from the left.

It’s actually a debate about what's true, not what's funny. Funny is subjective. And Bobcat is speaking the truth, very insightfully, while Dave is just a whiny bitch and a hack who hasn't written a great joke in over a decade.

holy fuck! I read that, and another interview this week, and bobcat Goldthwait fucking GETS IT. Like, dude is insightful, compassionate, and self-aware. Somehow. When all these old other comics just get bitter and shitty.plus, jerry Seinfeld inexplicably hates bobcat, so bob is now my patron saint.

none of the rappers mentioned above credibly fall into the “conscious rapper” camp.... (i guess arguably erykah badu if she ever made sense)...

Unpopular opinion: I liked Dave in a show with supporting actors/comics, but as a stand alone stand up he sucks.

It’s because we have that celebrity/hero worship culture in this country such that we think if someone is famous, they must be smart and have witty things to say as well.

I’d be very interested in reading an Opinion column from you about this subject.

I’m rarely in the comment section but this is my take, too.

It’s part of my “Conscious Rapper” theory: That we think great artists are smart because art hides their lack of depth. But when you take away the art, you realize you don’t want to hear them talk.

See: Ice Cube, Erykah Badu, David Banner, Jill Scott, Killer

Finally, someone said out loud what nobody has: *This special isn’t as funny as it thinks it is,* and because of that, the transphobic jokes look that much more awful. Been following Chappelle since Half Baked, and since his 'woke' move to walk away from CC's money because he didn't like how people were laughing at
