I remember when this car came out. I was visiting my local Subaru dealer quite often at the time ( my used Subaru was burning oil like crazy - how surprising, I know ) and they were expecting to sell so many of these. They even tried to make me reserve one because ‘’ they will be flying off the shelves and you’ll

The Subaru Tribeca. I’m not even sure what they were trying to do with it as they had several models that were better at doing whatever it was trying to do. I’m kind of surprised it even lived long enough to have a facelift done as the first gen was hideous and should’ve been shelved before production.

Hummer H2 (and the others really). Enough said.

Well, I have mixed feelings about this. At the top of their scale, they make $39 an hour. West coasters make $55. That really doesn't seem very high. Especially for the work they do. And, that raise increase is spred out over several years. I did hear a few weeks ago, that the union president turned down a 70% pay

Research how little they make and how little they  got last time vs other folks who make what now? These are literally blue collar workers being paid far below the rate of inflation for years. Good for them. The average fortunate 500 CEO makes what? Contributes what?  No.......they need every single dollar they can

1st Gear: Waiting for Trump to say what he always says without a plan to back it up: “This never would have happened if I was president”.

Yes, I agree with the human concern. I was pleasantly surprised to read that the occupants of the Jag ok despite the heavy damage and lack of any sort of safety features in older sports cars. All I could think of was the Mille Miglia crash scene from the Enzo Ferrari biopic.

If I was in the Jag I’d be far more concerned about the car than myself, it may just be a car, but damn is it a CAR. Broken bones heal faster and more cheaply (even in the U.S.) than one can properly restore a car like that.

Uhhh, I hope she had umbrella coverage?

Not unheard of to have the exit sign in that triangle/shoulder area between the lanes and exits. It is not ideal, as someone will eventually hit it, but surrounding topography may require it for line of site needs. Or someone was lazy and decided to shove it in the pavement because the area off the shoulder would have

“Became lost while using his GPS"? I read that as "tried to cut across illegally after missing his exit"

Is it normal to have road signs in the middle of the road though? I get that it’s a median that’s not meant to be driven on, but that seems like a bad idea in general. Hell, signs off to the side of the road get hit enough 😂

Driving home from my job in college, I saw some guy in my rear-view mirror weaving aggressively through traffic on the highway, driving like a complete douche. He passed me, and then took the exit ahead of me. We came to the end of the ramp, he turned right, I turned right behind him (both of us heading home.) He then

Plus, once he starts firing, he looks scared of his own gun. Even if the law says his response was reasonable, his lack of gun control should have resulted in charges. But... if your legal system says his response is reasonable, I guess gun control doesn’t matter. Everyone is just lucky there wasn’t a school bus ahead

That guy was such a toolbox. Just seeing this gif makes my eyes roll so hard I’m worried one will fall out.

A big problem with older companies is the concept of compatibility.

Their back end integration is decent, but UI is terrible like the car lol.

Not sure what they wanted, but remoting into the server with a data connection has been a thing forever for heavier tasks... (at least since 3G internet anyways for laptops and general internet for )

Look, I have no idea whether Ghosn is guilty of the crimes he’s accused of, or of the profligate spending they claim he did. All I know is

“More of the EV talent is heading out than in,”
