Good thing my man is a lawyer for a living and not a YouTube thumbnail consultant.

I’ll give you $10,000 if you let me perform your kidney transplant. Come on, dude... it’s not rocket science.

Air and space are controlled and regulated by the government.

If it’s a private fleet why is an electoral process needed?

Let him go.  Tether him to Hubble.  Leave him there.

I think there is an upside to this. As I replied to another commentor, my entire 30 years career has been in the world of fear of being fired constantly. There always seems to be at least one manager that will fire people for stupid stuff like not wearing the correct shirt or the like at every company.

Now playing

That’s been all of my 30+ years in my career. Every company has a “Queen of Hearts” in the C-Suite.

Many years ago I decided to take a boring job with a large, boring grocery company. I knew, if nothing else, I would have great job security because it’s a large company not going anywhere soon, and people always need to eat.

Yeah but that’s a bit different than a tyrant CEO who thoughtlessly cuts an entire division of the company just because he got a little miffed that the head of that division gave him a little pushback on the number of people that should be let go.

High quality vehicles rolling off the assembly line should be no problem with worker morale like this. /s

Ok, so where is any actual context then? Just saying “Everyone is doing it” isn’t context. Musk is laying off larger percentages of people than other automakers and tech companies, has a record of just letting go of entire departments with little/no thought only to have to immediately reverse course (which happens else

This would be a good time to catch up to the rest of the world for regulations surrounding layoffs and severance payments.

And if Musk comes to you asking if you’re hard core enough to stay, take him up on that offer to leave or risk being laid off anyway with a lower severance. That is if he'll actually pay.

Because of that, Tesla employees, like many around the U.S., wake up every morning wondering if they still have a job.”

I can’t stand Musk either, and it makes my skin crawl to do anything that may appear to defend him, but waves of layoffs have been happening across the entire tech industry for the last 2 years.

IIRC even the most humble Cessna or Piper is still required to pass an annual inspection and be serviced by a FAA certified tech to be legally airworthy.

That is what I was thinking he descended and exceeded the never exceed speed and the wings decided they were done flying.

Wow, I just googled the plane, and “doctor killer” was referenced in the 2nd  search result.

Accidents from maintenance issues are not all that common, the big issue is the pilot, they may not have enough experience or not have flown enough recently and then there is the poor decision making with regards to weather and their own skill levels. As this one broke apart in flight I would suspect that the guy went

The “forked-tail doctor killer” strikes again. The V-class Beechcraft Bonanzas have a history that is not great.
