100% I am here to trigger you with MY experience. That’s why I wrote my original comment. Get the male ballet dancer. Are you fucking serious???? You chose to engage. It’s not a “claim” that Misty didn’t dance. She didn’t! Again, you weren’t there. Sit down and be quiet. You’re doing no favors for the ballet boys

Lol and you ARE a sexist who doesn’t get it. Outed yourself. Telling me to “appreciate” Misty Copeland for being the first black principal dancer and then telling me that it doesn’t matter that she’s black. Fuck You.

Misty didn’t dance due to a family tragedy. Her replacement was white. It was beautiful and people understood why Misty couldn’t perform but a lot of little girls in the audience didn’t see themselves represented on stage by her replacement. Again, since you weren’t there maybe sit this one out. Stop explaining things

You wrote a condescending essay in response to MY experience. You don’t get to tell me what I am allowed to be outraged by. Thanks for being “aware” enough to see that SOME male ballet dancers are predatory but you clearly don’t have a grasp on how representation matters and art, even if beloved, can be problematic.

Sure, and I bet a lot of people liked it or didn’t mind the teachable moment. But it was a weird choice in light of the me too scandals the ballet is currently dealing with.

“some ballets don’t age well” ugh yeah dude. Lots of art doesn’t and in the age of me too this one was an off choice. I’m not an idiot and got that it was “in jest” BUT I DIDN’T LIKE THE JOKE. Also, this matinee WAS a special CHILDREN’S MATINEE PERFORMANCE FOR HALLOWEEN. There were special events for children during

I went to the matinee children’s show at ABT last weekend and on stage there were more male roles than female even though most of the kids in the audience were girls. The final number was three sailors chasing women outside of a bar on shore leave. One of the little girls I was with asked her mom why they wouldn’t

She was at the same Jose Andres restaurant as my friends and I this past Friday. We thought that was an FU to the fam, too.

I just keep thinking about Tyga who clearly still pursues this “70's” style of coercion and predation and not enough people seem to care or notice.

This is an issue in the Chicago stand up community as well. Female comedians are organizing to better address the hostile environment and support one another.

“Get ready to feel a fresh, scalding surge of empowerment” BEST LINE EVER.

I WANT THAT ROMPER!

I LOVE Thinx!! I have a Diva Cup (which I obviously am obsessed with) but having the Thinx is a good break when you don't want something inside all the time. They don't feel like a pad, just regular underwear! No blood diapers!

“Also: WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU THAT YOU WOULD BRING A SELFIE STICK INTO THE WATER? WERE YOU RAISED IN A GODDAMN K-MART?”

Does she still have the price tag on the bottom of her shoes?

"THIS IS NOT A DRILL." lawlz

This Kanye bit made me laugh so hard. thx.

At least she is admitting there actually IS a pay gap. This must not have been signed off on by the rest of the right.

It wasn't how I was treated but how I felt others to be treated. Grew up in a Christian home, worked at a Christian camp, went to a Christian college. Stumbling warnings were everywhere, mostly directed toward young girls and women. I didn't like it. I didn't like being a part of it and I couldn't justify it. Because

"willingness to avoid situations which would cause one's brother or sister to stumble."
