I feel like I have met a lot of white people who say authentic but they mean stereotypical. Like if you try to perform what feel authentic to you, they feel you are putting on an act and you have to conform to their manufactured ideas about authenticity or you are not living up to their standards.

I’m not on board with all the Ed Sheeran hate, but I must admit, “tattooed puff pastry” is an excellent insult.

I think they’re showing how it all falls apart without women??

His SNL work is totally what made me a fan. I have a hard time understanding the hate with him sometimes—he can sing, dance, play musical instruments, be a terrible actor in movies, and then be excellent at making fun of himself on SNL. He can be a little over-the-top (obnoxious?) at times, but I also think he’s well

I’m just gonna say it: I like Coldplay. I think Chris Martin seems like a really nice, sweet, nerdy guy AND I think he’s cute. I think themed parties are fun no matter how old you are. That’s it.

*Trump is Hitler but worse.

From another article on CNN:

Also, maybe I’m reading the article incorrectly, but didn’t she actually do the stuff she is saying she would never do?

thats because racism has not only been legitimized, its been deemed patriotism.

“I would never ...” = “I didn’t realize there would be consequences for my actions.” Which is why we are seeing an uptick in racist and anti-Semitic acts; people are getting the message that they can get away with it.

And you got that how from the article? The article says nothing about the companys history. All we know from this article is that 1.) Tesla employs a lot more men than women (but that is not surprising, given the pool they pull from) and 2.) One woman is filing suit. The case has not even reached discovery, so we

what he didn’t do was tell Dunaway why he had stared so long at the envelope. He merely passed it to her, and she quickly announced the wrong winner.

Well, that’s just it. You’re talking about a human mind that has never existed when you talk about that kind of balancing act.

me too, how much do you make per year?

I made an account on this website specifically to reply to this post.

Racism is when someone thinks a race a beneath theirs, this was not racism. She thought a kimono was hip and didn’t take into account the cultural significance.

Everything about this is just pure gold - the price, the discount, the name next to the dirt cheap price and “Made in China”... You can’t make this stuff up.

She sang “Born This Way.” She slyly stuck up for immigration rights while singing “stay” while hugging a Latina audience member. I mean, WTF do you want for someone who has to stay within the bounds of her contract for the most part? If she did more, she’d risk getting cut, and so she pushed it as far as she

...she sang a gay anthem at the Super Bowl that affirmed the humanity of people who are LGBTQ, people of color, and people with disabilities. I thought she did pretty well.
