Nobody gives a fuck that you’re “constantly titillated” by any amount of chest being exposed on a video game streaming site. Don’t police them over it. That’s a “you” problem.

Ay, never said it was the same thing. Come on greys surely this isn’t your best effort.

Found the person offended by the human body.

If only she had the foresight to do so in a public bathroom while screaming racial epithets, she would have been a-ok.

I have found across the many industries I have worked in that at least half of all businesses are mismanaged.

Bloating costs and budgets. Systemic crunch and work overload. Insane burnout and turnover rates.

I prefer to describe it as a fetichization of games as consumer products. As in Marx’s fetiche concept. We want to be taken into a fantastical journey by these games, more than we want to know about the human cost it took to create that experience. We want to forget about the human cost of our jobs for a few moments.

“strong culture of welfare”

The fact that his fans think he was blackmailed into doing something like this says a lot about who he is as a person. They so strongly believe that he is the racist, hate-filled person they want him to be that they assumed an act of charity was coerced because it was so against his typical behavior. He should take

I’m eager to play more and see what might change, but at the moment this has not been a particularly enjoyable play experience for me even acknowledging

Yay! I’m a niche market again!

I wouldn’t conflate page views with comments. The Sims fanbase is pretty big. I just don’t think the overlap between Kotaku readers who create kinja accounts and then discuss the articles is in line with the player base. So if a Sim fan is googling information about the much-anticipated Realm of Magic pack, they might

Man this is some good stuff.

Wow, it really is just like launch.

I was hoping to see more screenshots like the header pic. There's gotta be someone making an MC Escher house now. Or even something resembling a level from Q-Bert or Marble Madness. I haven't played The Sims in ages, since one of the updates to the original game.

Also. Thank you so much for writing this. Cannot wait for Realm of Magic to drop and I hope you cover it and showcase your work. You definitely should be an EA Game Changer if you aren't already.
