Is your plan under a grandfathered plan? If so, they are still not required to fully comply with the ACA (which is total BS... I’m under one of those plans). They extended the compliance deadlines for those plans so they are not required to cover it fully (yet).

I’m so confused as to what i’m supposed to see here. Why is this a thing.

I want to see this.

My partner says Burger King offers a decent veggie burger.

Yea, she doesn’t get it. I think there was a lot lost in translation for her. She tried to say it was the fence but then kept on asking what the braids had anything to do with black culture... and then it just went downhill from there.

I feel the same way. I was a long time lurker/follower of TBD and she made me come out of the shadows to comment because Kristin Ess was being so ridiculous. FFS.

Her line about how we (the commenters) should stop equating braids (cornrows, really. Lets call it what it is) and jail with black culture... umm, you did

They think cornrows magically appeared in all cultures. So totally not part of black culture. Also, they reappropriated it by calling it “uneven rows of braids” or “uneven dutch braids” so *tschah* totally not cornrows, ya’ll. /sarcasm

You can say offensive things without being racially charged. I don’t think those things are mutually exclusive. It may not make her a racist. I follow TBD and I was willing to assume the intent was not malicious and the comment was done in ignorance, poor taste and judgement. Still doesn’t change that fact that the

I think most people gave her the benefit of the doubt (including myself) in the sense that she said an ignorant racially insensitive thing without malicious intent. So most of us commenters were telling her to just fix the post and also acknowledge that she said a shitty thing. Instead, she came back faux outraged and

I do think restaurants should honor requests, but I have a big problem with the fadists at restaurants straight up lying about their food allergies instead of just being honest: “please no [item you are avoiding] because [x diet or i dislike it]”. It makes it harder for servers to take people with real allergies &

We're having pizza as a late night snack at our wedding. We wanted it as the main dinner, but our favorite pizza place was already booked, but they offered to cater for a latenight bite. Mark just be hatin'.

I think it's ok to express your uncertainty. It at least communicates that information to the other person without them assuming you are in agreement or not. But I guess it's up to your partner what to do with that information if they feel strongly about it one way or another.

I think it's really important to be upfront about it before things get serious. I've seen several relationships pretty much fall apart because one person thought they could change the other's mind or decided it was not an important factor to move on in the relationship. It's heartbreaking.

For me, personally, I am

I'm going to call bullshit on the "don't want my skin darkened" reason. Fist of all, mainlanders (as in non coastal cities) will not have enough exposure to dive as a profession. Most mainlanders go to the beach maybe once a year, if that, so it's not like they would even be prepared to consider this as a

I don't *HATE* hate him, but I am bewildered by his success, because I find him kind of bland and boring. He just seems like an average joe?

See Carson Daly.

While Feingold is awesome, I think he would not have been successful either (plus he had stated that he had no interest in running for governor). WI had been center right it was slowly pushing further to the right. Feingold is left as they come. The fact that Ron Johnson won by 5 points is in his Senate race was

Voter turn out was better during the recall, but the problem was the Dem candidate. While Barrett did campaign better compared to the first election cycle, people didn't really think that he was the best candidate available because he had already lost. Then there's the short term memory of the voters (too much time

A close friend of mine probably has positive associations with growing up in a religious family... the parents were pretty open minded, were not afraid of their children learning about other religions, and gave them a choice to attend or not attend church after they entered high school. He decided not to attend
