@Copernileo: That shot was recently featured on Giz... it's another one of those totally cool, battery-free passive iPod/iPhone audio amplifiers.

@xaronax: Uhh, wait, what? Flattening simply combines all the layers in a PS file, AFAIK.
@Master_Soda: HAH! OK, that's 2 in a row that gave me a case of the grinz. [heartclickythingy]
It wasn't that creepy, was it?
@YummyCyanide: nice ;)
@badassmark24: Really, I'm not just being a dick: Trying to make a call while my Droid-toting friends laugh at me for not having service is a punch to the gut that really hurts. And I say this as a dyed-in-the-wool Apple fanboi: Apple stickers on all the cars, Macs in every room (well, not the bathroom, working on…
@hooshies: Why, thank you. Always happy to be of service assisting you in "sticking it to the man" by promoting the act of reading Giz at work. Umm, NOT like I would ever do such a thing, of course.
When I'm in one of AT&T's awesome "coverage" points, I pretend my iPhone is a phone too.
@Dave Dearborn: duhh pt barnum
@qbrad: Meds. Take them.
@Deckard: Was this just built as a model for the movie or a full-scale working item? (well, working as far as a movie needs to... you know)
@noodle: So, ummm, does this mean I should be thankful for having AT&T? Now there's a switch!....
@Heihachi.vs.Kazuya: 100% agreed - the sad part is that it truly is the status quo, and that as long as it's considered "business as usual" things will never change. You know the rap: 'We're not price-gouging, we simply charge what the market will bear'. Wow, srsly?
@noodle: Hey, stop holding back - tell us how you REALLY feel!
@robot-shmobot: Damn, I love pad thai. I'll have to ask my new Thai gf about that one...
@I. Heart. Cars.: I will gleefully share that "chitlins=pig butthole" fact often and everywhere, particularly when out to dinner with friends. Thank you for that!
TED talks are ever-fascinating, and this one was no exception. She makes a great point in that we generally have no idea what our everyday products consist of, or just how complex (and fragile) of a sourcing/manufacturing web we have woven about us.
That's not a moustache - it's long, flowing nose hairs.
@jayfreak1023: HA! Burnnnn.....
@OldAudis: Sorry, silicon (Si) and silicone (Ph2SiO) are two different things.
