@Hooray4Zoidberg: AFAIK apps like FCPro (in order to avoid unauthorized copying) link themselves to a unique ID (machine serial? MAC address?) on your Mac when they are first installed. Copies then do not find this ID and subsequently will not initialize. I have yet to see a sucessful migration of FCP from one Mac to

@mypsychoticself: Actually, it's there, it just essentially got lost in the greyscale conversion. The non-original "hand" source file I have, however, has the ring on the WRONG FINGER (sacrilege, I know), so look for the band on the middle finger.

Too soon? Too tired? Too gross?

It's early for me and the coffee hasn't really kicked in yet. At first glance, this is what I thought I was seeing. Yowsa!

@MaliciousH: Design: Reminds me of of the "big-chin" 2006-2008 iMacs, just taken to an extreme.

@gtaz19: Borderline porn. But awesome.

@Coreboy: And the beaks and the feet and the eyeballs and the assholes too AFAIK. Mmmmm, yummy.

Umm, yeah. What could POSSIBLY go wrong with this idea?

@brijazz: I spend a lot of time in PS in my work, and when it comes to retouching, it’s only a success when it’s NOT noticeable. Otherwise it’s a failure.

"it looks like they may have legal grounds to pull the plug."

@numo16: Hmmm, last time I checked, you're not just paying for the hardware. I hear rumors that the OS has something to do with it as well.

@Disabled_Vette: True that. I saw the lead-in shot and chubbed up a bit with how sexy it looked for some sort of unheard-of (at least by me) alien-tech-looking speakers. Some kind of awesome ported compression drivers for the bottom end, skewed undermount tweeters for improved imaging, the possibilities seemed

@Akio Morita: +1 for the Daft Punk reference. Saw it too.

@Eskobar: Wow, this much activity in this thread and nobody addresses the original question. There is humor there... somewhere. Assuming this infographic came from the corporate offices of Sony, then it is going to be, sadly, an anonymous graphic designer that should be getting this credit.

Actually, it looks as if it would shed more usable light as a function of the more open shape: On the standard spiral CFL, at least 30%, if not closer to 50%, of the illuminating surface is on the INSIDE of the spiral and is blocked, essentially trapping the light rays.

@Ron-Mexic0: Kinda like a Mr. Methane app? YESSS!

Fart apps are amusing when used in public restrooms: Sitting in a stalll, rip out a few farts, ending with a juicy one. Then follow that with a meekly-uttered "owwww...".

@njefferson: Truth be. A 'dead and dying meme' section would generate its own entertainment, akin to the heat generated by decomposing organic matter: Fun and potentially pleasant for the generator, and expected to be lightly offensive (yet perhaps amusing) to the onlooker/participant.
