Lol. To be fair, it was a pretty conclusive death. I half expected him to fall into a car crusher.

Yeah, I know. I think everyone knows. It's a bad and cynical choice for his character.

I just rewatched the film this evening and it doesn't rankle quite as much, but I still don't like it. I agree with your take but these things should be spelled out. In fact, Han's dodgy underworld stuff could have been cooler if it happened more like you're describing. Especially given there's a conflict of interest

They guy or the substance? Don't answer that.

It doesn't quite make sense that Han's a smuggler, in that he now smuggles under the Republic's presumably more liberal laws rather than the Empire's totalitarianism. It needs more exposition than it's given, which was one line of dialogue. If you have to infer it, especially given his legend, it's bad film-making.

Kilmer has the honour of being the Batman most likely to be identified even though wearing a mask. Seriously, it's those weird, pouty lips.

Ha! Yes, that would have been 'sick'.

They need to stop doing that choirboy singing a capella shit before it becomes a cliche.

I think it's telling how far we've sunk as a collective that we need someone this freakish to gang up and point fingers at.
