Well, don’t take my word for it. He could be wrong too, and it’s just one of those things that even police officers don’t know all the rules.

Interesting. I know someone with one of these plates on like, an ‘09 Corolla, and he bought a replacement from that website. He has had a police officer comment on how clean it looked, but that was all.
I just like that you can look at a modern Wrangler and clearly see the lineage back to the earliest prototypes. “Jeeps” have to be the first vehicles my kids could pick out, from a CJ-3B to a new Wrangler, they always know a Jeep when they see one.
12:01 on 12/10 or 10/12? or, 00:01 on 12/10 / 10/12.. seems like they could have done something there. But didn’t. Like if it was 12:10 on 12/10 maybe it’s 1200 hp or something. But we already (probably) know it’s not that.
First of all, how has that car gone 128,000 miles. The seats look like they’ve never been sat in. If it had 128 miles, full stop, it still probably wouldn’t be worth the asking price.
Mutual respect?
Mine is a 5 speed 325xi too!
I’m a ski coach and have shovels, rakes, ropes, and oh yes several pairs of skis up there all winter... it beats driving a suburban everywhere!
They still have the 3-wagons, but no manual since 2012 in the wagons.
I’m pretty sure acting like that toward a police officer, regardless of the circumstances, isn’t going to go well for you.
This is fantastic. I love the level of detail here, and should hopefully serve as a reference to all those (like me) who would look at such a car and say, “but what would it really take” well funny you should ask...
They didn’t improve it much over the M54 design. In particular, if their idea of “improvement” was to make it heated(?) then that’s just ... wow.
Ugh, that seems like a nightmare. But I guess if it doesn’t happen too often, it’s not a big thing.

I don’t know, but it seems weird in a case where the value of the car is overbid by like, 20x already.
Since I live close by, I’ve been up a few times for various reasons. I did do a proper multi-day class one time, as a 30th birthday present from my wife’s family. It was... awesome.
Wait, so how does that work if it sells for $20k on ebay? Aren’t ebay bids supposed to be binding, in some way? Or can you just walk away from a winning bid with no consequences? In which case, forget ever selling something on ebay?
I may have gotten air in my E46 wagon, with a roof box full of skis no less. Granted, it was at Team O’Neil on a closed course.
