I generally think 13 year olds can’t be trusted to name goldfish let alone people, but here, with parental permission you can change your name from any age (and after 16 you can change it yourself). All you have to do is write yourself a short letter saying “I have changed my name to...” find a couple of witnesses

Knows your pain:

Careful, she’ll use headology on you.

Giving a 13 yo the chance to name themselves sounds ... problematic

Declan is actually pretty common throughout the UK.

I can’t be the only one who saw Esme and thought Granny Weatherwax can I?

In France it dictates what women wear. Now, to you and me, not wearing a head covering is not a big deal, but to some it can be degrading. It is forcing people to dress in a way they perceive as immodest. It would be analogous to passing a law forcing people not to cover their cleavage here.

I want to preface this with the fact that I in no way disagree with you. And this is mostly devil’s advocate/reductio ad absurdom, but...

This. I was always told to hit back. Bullies are looking for someone to torment because it’s funny, not because they hate you. If they have to weigh up the fun they’ll get tormenting you against the likelihood they’re gonna have to actually fight and risk getting their ass kicked, they will back off.

Because there is such a thing as pro-social violence?

This may be a shade insensitive, but

A whole lot of dying for nothing is a pretty common sentiment from those who have served.

If a noun is countable then it is fewer. If a noun is uncountable it is less.

I don’t normally grammar nitpick

“Do any of you have a sibling or a friend growing up who would fight with you in constant circular arguments, always purposefully misunderstanding what you were saying and twisting your words and acting like a real villain and it’s so cruel that you just want to cry the whole time?”

I wonder what they had to drink...

Multiple times = twice, both on photographers (not saying I approve, but I understand). so technicallycorrect.jpg
