Very easily, we could have. There were times in those first few months, especially with our first child where me and the wife were essentially zombies. If he were asleep, we damn sure weren’t checking on him unless he was asleep for longer than expected for fear of waking him up.

I imagine though, that children are probably statistically safer with professional, trained daycare than they are with your average parent.

Perhaps. Like I said, there’s too much we don’t know. But I can’t imagine it would feel any better knowing your baby died under your watch.

Is kicking legs behaving oddly? I don’t remember either of mine doing that, but I don’t think I would have worried about it if I saw it. I mean, feet hammering on the cot, sure but twitching legs? Probably not.

Yeah... the headline is a bit trolltastic. It implies the death was caused by leaving the child at daycare and we just don’t know that at the moment.

was...

I wouldn’t want to immediately cast blame on the daycare without knowing for sure what caused the baby’s death. At 3 months old (iirc) it’s very unlikely the baby rolled over and wasn’t noticed and he wouldn’t have been able to grab things to put in his mouth.

Assuming the idiotic notion that those 25 people would have had perfect aim, had the drop on the terrorists, avoided the explosive vests and successfully reassured the crowd and the attending police that they weren’t themselves terrorists and so avoided all casualties (aside from the terrorists) this would still be a

Good. This is a dangerous medicine, ridiculously expensive, with strict conditions of use.

But, I mean, can you even order Pizzas in Raqqa?

There are moral absolutes. Murder is wrong. Rape is wrong. From there we can work down the list of crimes and reasonable men can disagree. But those two are more or less universal.

I understand that it is a terrible situation to be in but I do not agree it’s a hard choice to make.

I hope I wouldn’t. I believe I would. I don’t expect to ever be in that situation.

If you have any evidence of crimes he has not been tried on its your duty to take it to the police. If not, enjoy your witch hunt.

There’s an awfully big assumption you made in that comment. And one you got wrong.

I never said what I would do I’d right or moral. Doesn’t change the fact that in that situation I would do it.

Finally you admit you think he abused black girls despite his acquittal.

Then how much would you say is an appropriate amount to allow someone to get away with the rape of a child? By accepting the money you become complicit and you enable the predator to do it to others.
