What a boring ass trailer.

JK Rowling's 'Foster's Home for Gifted Youngsters'.

Same here.

Last season the b&w present-day segment served more as a prologue to the whole season, a jumping point from which to go back in time and see how the legend of Saul Goodman began. This year we had more of a one act play with the b&w segment, in which 'Gene' was faced with an actual choice to make instead of just going

I just posted pretty much the same thing, comparing it also to 'The Man Who Wasn't There'.

Always saw 'A Serious Man' as a spiritual sequel to both 'The Man Who Wasn't There' and 'The Big Lebowsky'.

That could be the sequel. Lots of crossovers.

I can't really understand this getting an A. I actually found "Founder's Mutation" much more competent in its visual storytelling and narrative pace.

Deep Throat, Bill Mulder, Melissa Mulder, X, The Well Manicured Man, Mulder's mom, whatever her name was. They all died.

I found the pedophile priest's psychic storyline a little too similar to the one in season 3's "Oubliette", one of my favorite "life sucks" episodes of the show.

This is one of the saddest things I've ever read.

Na na na na na. If you focus only on the flash-sideways, a) you're not talking about six seasons or 100 hours, you're talking about 1/3 of the last season and b) you're not talking about all the on-island awesome action, crazy time-travel, solid character development and the ambitious story structure.

I remember a friend of mine who was very much dissatisfied with the origins of the Monster. At the time she said being in contact with a mysterious energy doesn't turn you into things. I reminded her of the origins of the Fantastic Four, Spider-man and the Hulk. She said I was being geeky. I reminded her we were

Yes, but she's played by Hugh Laurie.

He was also the driver.

If Patti Levin is in the head of every character in the show, I guess it's time for a Six Feet Under crossover.

Great season. I don't agree at all with the B- score, but had come here expecting to see it. Whenever Kevin is featured a lot in any episode — or maybe whenever there's a lack of Nora — reviewer Joshua takes a certain dislike for it.

Like you said, he *tried* to drown himself. It seems to me that before he died, all the water was drained down the crack at the bottom of the lake, and then he woke up. I can't prove you wrong, but I don't think we're meant to believe he had been to the Hotel before.

If you're going to quote…

Nope. Not at all.
