We are talking about GOT right? Does rape even register as something "that bad" in this show?

No kidding, I rarely get reception down there.

"And again, the reasons do not matter."

You too? Thought it was just me…

There is no evidence of showers in GOT (the show), yet you want to discuss that?

Since you seem hell bent on making this personal, it might help you to know that I am a victim of sexual abuse like many others on this thread. I find these lectures about the uses of the word "no" quite amusing.

You see, the problem is here that you are not talking about the show. You are talking about what you want the show to say. Thus it is difficult to discuss the show with you.

I stopped trying to be competitive over internet comments a long time ago…. it is not healthy for anyone, really.

"I didn't see that. In any event, by the time she was on the floor, there were no two ways about it."

indeed. top of the day to you good human, interesting starting the day off with a good murder/rape chat, but then again i guess that is what GOT will do to a thread….

hence why i said we shouldn't debate the ins and outs of this. severity/uniqueness/however-you-want-to-phrase-it ….. there are worse/more unique things in this world than being raped (especially in this context, by someone you love)

meh. ketchup, catsup

people were polled for their opinions, and this was found to be a valid opinion, on average

Does she not kind of shoot herself in the foot while saying "no" when reaching for his man parts? Or possibly implying that it is okay if they do it, just not next to their child's corpse?

Honestly though, I liked the effort. It was close enough, in my books.

"I was really starting to dig his chops as a recovering serial killer, but this rape thing - thhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh….. not sure he can recover from this…."

I mean we really should not debate the ins and outs of this, but I am pretty sure murder and permanent slavery are worse violations and degradations than rape.

Sorry, I'm not a book purist. I'll go back to mowing my lawn.

She also clearly reaches for his kibbles and bits, and implies through one of her statements that she is okay with the act as long as it wasn't next to their dead kid. Not to mention the backstory of these characters, as you suggest.

Indeed. This article is a fresh reminder to go back to not spending time on FOC articles in the future…
