I’m pretty confident Rivian will happen, especially with the backing it got, it beat Tesla to a modern electric prototype pickup, and did so without looking like a glitch on a Nintendo 64.

I’m not a fan of Tesla mainly because of Musk, but I will admit that some of their cars are good- mode X (blegh). Part of it is probably people who aren’t prepared for the fact that Teslas have brutal acceleration for a sedan. I’m all for bashing things I dislike, but I would prefer for my ammo to be facts rather than…
I think GM and BMW collaborated to design that grill.
It is the same for me. To my eyes, the Supra and RX-7 haven’t aged well, and they look kind of plasticky, but the 300ZX looks nice. TBH the more futuristic a car looks when it comes out, the worse it will age.
And a Nismo version with an INSANE 4 EXTRA HORSEPOWER!!!!!!!!
With the kind of racing it is, people would either stop caring entirely or start watching Indy car. Indy car is closer to NASCAR than F1, and IMO more interesting to watch than both NASCAR and F1.
Almost never, Alan Kulwicki won the 1992 championship by getting second in the last race. Due to transmission damage, he had to run 4th gear the whole time. On oval tracks, gears don’t matter except for pitting.
This is a legitimate question: Why was mistaking the gas pedal for the brake an issue with this car specifically, were they flipped?
I think Toyota feared that if there was actually some kind of issue, it would spark a Pinto 2.0 situation.
A mid 70s cadillac probably was weak due to emissions regulations, two more powerful examples would be the old Chevy 454 engine or an LS3.
That was the Audi issue I was thinking of, I couldn’t remember which model it was though.
5.3 isn’t even close to big, even by GM standards. Evidence: LS engines.
1st gear: I think there was some Audi sometime in the 80s I think that had an acceleration issue, but I think that had something to do with the transmission.
My mom has a RAV4 now, but she used to have a Miata and ever earlier a 79 Camaro. The only reason she got the Camaro was because my grandma thought her original idea, a Corvette, was too fast. If it weren’t for that, my mom’s first car would have been a Vette.
The LFA is the best sounding car ever built IMO, it is amazing.
BREAKING NEWS!!!!! Chevy designed another dull, boring, and ugly car!
Let’s also acknowledge that Nissan’s LeMans team thought a FWD race car was a good idea.
flying cars are the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of, because if you wreck or the car fails, you are 1000% fucked. EVs need 2 things to become widespread: Affordability and infrastructure adjustment. EVs are still expensive, but they are becoming more affordable. Infrastructure isn’t ready for widespread EV use, it…
That’s why, unless you need a warranty, buying a low mileage used car is usually a better option. Cars today are more reliable than ever, so 20 to 50k miles can still leave 100k to 200k+ miles to play with. Buying a car off a lease is much cheaper than a new car, and you can get them with low mileage. It seems like a…
Modded?: probably not
