Scumy sites are far worse for us than someone selling a game once they finish it. You can already"borrow" games from your friends on Steam...
Im an indie Dev, and don't see this as a huge problem. As long as the mechanism is in place so that multiple people can't play at once, it's fine. You can already have your friends play your steam games if they give you access to do so. Games quickly lose value as well. Don't plan on living on a game for 4-5 years,…
Im a game developer and don't see much of an issue with reselling digital games. It's no different than what GameStop did for decades. Games inherently lose value over time anyways.
They still lose value, eventually being worth close to 0 on the used market. Heck just check out Steam sales themselves...
