I think Honda buyers in general have more money than Ford"small car" owners. Ford is competing more with the Koreans, and perhaps Civic to some extent. Of course not anymore... Ford will struggle to sell SUV's to make up for small car sales with current prices.

Well, it narrows my choice of Ford cars to whatever they come out with that will be electric. I'm too spoiled with fuel efficiency on the Civic to go to a gas SUV, regardless of size probably..

I don’t think it’s about guilt. I doubt they have the capability to feel it anyways. It is simply a mechanism to push back on the victim, and they think people will look at them more favorably.

On one hand I find it shitty to lay off people if they had record numbers as a whole, but to somewhat defend them - they seem to be cutting in areas that were not profitable (like eSports), and not going after game developers. They also *appear* to be more generous with severance packages etc than other gaming…
