I *gladly* pay my taxes so the government can help poor people and refugees. In addition I volunteer and donate money - so yeah, people do actually help, and WANT to help. Of course, you don’t seem to be the kind of person that has empathy for other people..
Kinda wish Time Magazine would dig up dirt on editors and owners and Publish in the same fashion.. “Is X really Y’s daughter?”(no the pool boy is the father!). “Is Z obsessed with scat porn?” ..and so on..
This sounds like an agreement with each city in question, so definitely not graffiti - rather “sponsored service”.

Or take the $380 you planned on spending on a Dyson and buy 3(three) 5000 BTU windows AC units, alternatively 1 14000 BTU portable AC. Just saying....

Ok, so Elon is a Trumpette it seems - a bit disappointing..

I’m a fan of Tesla, but would say this test was chosen to highlight how good they can be. Obviously a Tesla will do great in such a test, considering they have a lot of heavy batteries in the bottom of the car..
May Pruitt burn in hell when it’s finally his time. On the upside, hell will likely be hotter than it is today.

All possible conditions, all possible behaviors? I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure they did test people just crossing the street successfully on a closed course, but clearly something went wrong here.
There is a wide spectrum of success with the uber cars as well. 1 (one) car killed someone, the rest probably had varying degree of smaller issues, to no issues at all during testing. My point is that just like we can’t say human’s aren’t meant to drive, we also cannot say cars weren’t meant to drive themselves…
As is the track record of Uber cars, right?
Yet people piss and moan that companies put these cars in real life conditions. A common complaint here is “they should do this on specifically built roads”. How can they ever be good if they don’t try it in the real world?
All the companies have tested in controlled environments. At some point it has to be done in the real world. They could either do limited tests in some areas, or cross their fingers and release it to the world at large after just doing controlled tests. Which do you think is more risky?
Well, Uber is in the business of having people drive cars for them, now they want machines to drive cars for them. Not a HUUGE leap either.
The new fire TV is widely criticized for being less capable and more unstable than the original firetv. I’d say if you need a fire device, stick with the stick, pun intended. If you want the BEST streaming device go for the Nvidia shield! More expensive, but better in every way.
