It uses Bluetooth Controllers (they work on PC too!) . As of the time of this comment ,Wii/U controllers do not work on the switch

you have a point there,that mostly stems from developers having to rush out launch games on time and being unfamiliar with the new system architecture

i think videogames had a nice run in the nineties.Then again i dont think games really had an era where there was a drop in quality everywhere (albiet the ps3-wii-360 era had that wierd phase where games had to be brown and mature,but still lots of games were still good)
