I think I've come to the conclusion that I generally don't like Karen Traviss's endings. After putting characters through the wringer, it feels like she lets them off too lightly in the end. The Wess'har Wars and Republic/Imperial Commando (knowing what was coming in Imperial Commando 2) both suffer greatly from this.

Rupert Sanders is not the right guy for Ghost In The Shell

Turning Wonder Woman into Black Widow doesn't sound so good though.

As far as I'm concerned, Eva Green makes that movie watchable for me. I would watch her sort laundry.

The issue with CG use in Japanese animation vs. the rest of the world is they use a lower fps, so the animation of the CG looks worse (movement, not image quality). 2s vs. 3s it all gets technical inside animation from there.

I wish the reboot wasnt cancelled.

That was hardly a Batvoice. I am disappointed.

I think this crowdfunding stuff is just out of control and open to abuse. Especially for creative projects that need to succeed or fail on their own merits.

Fanfiction should be a thing that isn't supported, especially for sale. I know attitudes have changed recently, but it's nevertheless an abomination.

OK, so maybe it's not as cool as having Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston or Idris Elba there, but it's still pretty damn cool. If I was stuck in hospital there would be well over 7 billion people behind Jaimie Alexander in the line marked "people I'd love to come visit me".

If memory serves, Kevin Smith was also a big fan of those Kevin Smith Batman comics, and those were awful.

I think (well, I hope at least) that I'm not alone in that I used to really trivialize things like anxiety and depression until I experienced it for the first time myself. Around the end of last year I was working on a project (I'm a software engineer) that was consuming about 70+ hours a week, for several months

Yeah, he's Skips, and he plays a villain on the tv cartoon for How To Train Your Dragon.

Yes they are. Someone translated all of the light novels. I forgot just who exactly. The thing about the second season was that it was the second act of a 4 part series: It ends horribly because it is not the end. Not even close. You should read them all.

To be fair there are 12 novels in the source material - I've gotten up to number 7 or so, and they still haven't really explained what the whispered are

When they emerge from childhood after twenty or thirty years they must emerge as fully formed adults. I've never seen a teenager on the Simpsons. They don't even seem to have a high school.
