The anime is not nearly as revealing. Most of the time you can see Miu's nipples through her clothing in the manga, the anime doesn't show things like that.

That's what saddens me. That elevator scene seems to get to the bottom of why my kid loves the turtles cartoon. They're goofy brothers that fight evil and each other , but have big hearts and rely on one another. It reminds him of his relationship with his big brothers (minus the fighting evil part as far as I know).…

I'm right there with you. I saw the clip the other day and until just now actually considered catching it Sunday morning just for more of the brotherly interactions but this makes it sound like everything I feared.

In the show, they built Gohan up by occasionally showing his hidden power. He was something new born from the combination of human and saiyan blood. He was set up as the protector of Earth for a new generation. And then the Buu Saga happened, he screws up, and his father has to step in to save the day yet again.…

When I first heard of it and the 5 factions shtick, i thought it was something like Equilibrium where they take a drug or something that brings out whatever personality type is dominant...but when I read that it was basically an aptitude test I was like, "that's not how humans work"...most people would be "divergent"

Nothing sums up this episode better than this gif of Carl completely failing to shove open a door. It was also the episode's highlight.

I have read the Martian and loved it! I am glad to hear I wasn't alone in my feeling that the author did an exceptional job speaking for someone stranded and made the character engaging and entertaining all while trying to get something truly exceptional accomplished.

The case with a lot of comic book villains, especially Spidey's.

"Better than the first" is damning with faint praise. (See also: Wolverine & Wolverine 2: the Quickening.) The first was bad. This one might be marginally better, but I'm doubtful it'll make it into 'good movie' territory.
