I sympathize with Jennifer, but at the same time, there are times when the smart thing to do is to keep your mouth shut. And when you’re the 1% and want to complain that you aren’t the 0.05%, that would be the time.

I realize that being Oprah’s book selection is a big deal because extra $$ and name recognition, but isn’t she pretty darn famous and successful already?

This really is top-notch food cinema. I wish Food Network would stop churning out all that schlock and take notice. I realize it’s not cheap to produce, but honestly those reality shows make me want to vomit, which doesn’t really work well for a food network.

This woman is an idiot. She knows there are white people who are fluent in Spanish? That there are white people in Latin America? Race and national origin had nothing to do with this.

There’s an entire country in Europe where millions of white folk speak flawless Spanish almost from birth.

It’s going to blow her mind when she learns that non-Hispanic people can speak Spanish and language proficiency is not solely based on race/national origin.

I would respectfully suggest that understanding that nothing posted online is ever private is a more vital life skill than knowing how to correctly spell Ta-Nehisi Coates.
