We just rewatched Sabrina this weekend and she’s superhuman.

Australian accent

This is the take I left Serial with, but I haven’t listened to the subsequent podcasts. And I hadn’t heard about Don’s timecard issues. Interesting....

I never said I thought that’s what happened. He was treated poorly by the school and by the police, as far as I can see (I’ve heard there may be other sides to the story but I haven’t heard them so I’ll just stick with what I know about it). But sometimes bad things happen to good people, and sometimes bad things

To be clear, I think he *should* sue and be reimbursed for any damages, with punitives so the school and police will think twice like assholes again to anyone else. I don’t have an issue with that (although I don’t think $15M will be the figure). But I do think his family is using this situation for their own gain in

Oh I agree with that. But I’m just getting the impression that his father is a bit of a huckster, plus that (let’s face it) publicity stunt with his moving to Qatar. The authorities should be made to answer and compensate him accordingly, but that doesn’t mean that I have to like them. Or even think that they’re on

I am starting to feel this way, too. It’s looking more and more like a circus/money grab by his father.

Haha, I have ditched the updo and the husband, but I do still have the dress! ;)

I never wear my hair up, but for my wedding everyone told me I HAD TO because wedding. It’s the one thing I regret when I look at the pictures. It just doesn’t look like me.

You can’t wear houndstooth on TV though. You’d look like there were insects crawling all over you and then the bored retirees would really have something to call in about.

I think she was very young when she first got married. Like 17 or 18.

Cuter and, you know, wearable.

We had a Jessica McClintock store in a mall down here when I was in high school and it always smelled amazing. I wonder if that was it?

What I see more these days is the bride picking a color/fabric and each bridesmaid picking out the silhouette that works for her. But if this picture is real, some brides are still assholes.

I don’t think that’s a bra. The other one looks like a strap added to the dress to cover a bra, so I think this girl’s just folded a bit along her spine bc of how she’s holding her arms.

I agree, my experiences have all been great. But I also haven’t seen a wedding where bridesmaids were forced into hideous Jessica McClintock dresses in decades. Does that really still happen anymore?

Laugh, but that crossword puzzle blogger saves my ass Friday-Sunday.

I use it all the damn time. I am currently “not in my size” and rather than spend the money on dresses on clothes that won’t fit in a couple of months (or keep buying on the cheap and feeling meh about it) I’ve been taking advantage of their services.

It’s a list of the funniest scripts though, not the funniest movies. I do like Annie Hall, though, and I checked the screenplay out from my college library once. It is actually 100x times funnier on paper than it is as a film. It’s one of those things where I was sitting on my bed reading and my roommates kept
