My wife and I are planning on picking up a Chrylser minivan (I love the sto n go seats) when we have our second kid or when the second kid is on the way. However, as we don't have one kid just yet, I'm hoping to trade in her 01 Accord for a Focus ST or Subieota while we keep my current G8 GT.

It makes me wonder what the Camaro would do for a chassis. It makes no sense to me to have a bespoke chassis for a low-margin muscle car. Why not enable it to expand to fill the 4-door muscle sedan market too?

Yes it is, and it's no longer a luxury brand. Their hot new car of 2012 was a Civic Si with a nicer interior? Yikes. I think Buick is more interesting than Acura and I find that sad. They need a new halo car (NSX 2 dammit!) so people start caring about them again.

I approve. Someone had an imagined version of the FR-S convertible a while ago and I thought it was beautiful. I don't know if I'd buy it over the regular version, but I know I'd like to have the option!

Motortrend had an article about some other FR-Ss they're working on, and one (still a coupe) has some clever chassis strengthening. that will help. Yeah, it will be heavier, but I think it will still be fantastic.

I didn't even think about that part. I (and dapper otter) fight with A pillars. I hate that I can lose full size pickups in the A pillars of my G8.
