To be fair, Falkor just chased the bullies into a dumpster.

I disagree whole-heartedly. The mystical/spiritual poetry of it was what set it apart from a typical grimdark police procedural/crime thriller.

Relax!

YES PLEASE.

Yeah, they are killing my desire to watch this season with every bit of information released. The occult/mysticism was the most well-done element of season one.

"Don't act like this was your plan all along" is one of my favorite Pete zingers.

I think they were just writing Joan much differently in earlier seasons. I get the feeling she was supposed to be a much bigger bitch in the beginning.

It's very interesting watching people tear this character apart purely because she's just as unhappy as Don is.

I disagree with what everyone keeps saying about how a mysterious Margaery wouldn't be good TV. She could've been the Bob Benson of Game of Thrones and it would've been delightful to watch Lena Headey work herself into fits over her motives. "Not great, Margaery!"

This, haha. I remember the video game he was supposed to make. Psychosis or Psychic or something? Then he was supposed to do a Lovecraft film that never happened (although, to be fair, I think that was because studios wouldn't let him have an R rating).

Homecoming was atrocious; I didn't look too deeply into Downpour.

There is no evidence at all for what you're suggesting, though. Joan tells him "You're such a disappointment," then leaves the hotel with no intention of ever seeing him again, as far as we can tell. HE comes back to HER with an apology, and she delivers her sarcasm just to be certain he knows where she stands and how

I felt the opposite. Her angry outbursts always seem a little too neat to me, but her squirming and struggling on the phone was very effective.

Yeah, I really don't understand why it's "wrong" that she didn't tell him immediately. Why does she need to throw something like that out there until she's sure he's serious about her?

lol you're ridiculous. Her expressing a single moment of frustration with her situation does not mean she wants to abandon her kid. The entire point of her saying that to him was to show him how stupid he was to be upset with her about it.

I wasn't wild about this episode. The Betty/Glenn thing seemed so out of place. Wasn't there a whole season where he seemed fairly normal and definitely not still obsessed with Betty? It almost seems like he's just there because they thought it would bes remiss to create a show about the 60s in which a recurring

I think it's fairly well established, but subtle. It really seemed to me like the three-way with her friend was an attempt to take the restless dog for a walk and give him permission to explore other women, so long as she was kept aware of it. Also I seriously doubt that her mother's cheating/STD comments made their

On rewatch, I noticed warning signs about Megan very soon after she was introduced. A few days into their Disneyland vacation, she tells this fishy story about an actress friend that—in retrospect, after seeing the episode where she steals the Beauty and the Beast part—sounds like she did something pretty

No, Don sulked about her quitting advertising then made sure she felt guilty every step of the way while she pursued her acting career, including showing up for her love scene just to shame her about it. And shut her out while he became an alcoholic and stopped giving much of a shit about her. Oh yeah, and cheated on

This episode really highlighted how WEIRD and different everything is. I find Don himself pretty unrecognizeable from early seasons—I practically want to call him Dick at this point. When is the last time anyone saw him work?
