"first impressions of other people say far more about YOU than that person." Yes.

How about the part that suggests you should just stfu?

You seem to be unaware that it is the tweet that is the issue, not the segment.

Okay, according to the article, the tweet is not coming from the show, so why do we have to watch the show to "understand" the tweet. The tweet makes fun of Asian people. Is it funny if I make a joke about lynching black people to show that other people are racist? No, it's not.

The point that Colbert didn't write the tweet is meaningless. No one said we should try to cancel Colbert as a person, just as a show. The twitter account represents the show. I am not on either side. I got tired of the show years ago. This is just people expressing their, possibly not as informed as you would like,

Obviously a sad situation but at some point it's not about her.

The amazing thing to me is that the Goopster was having all these affairs and now that they are splitting it's all about him getting a milkshake with a model.

I hope you can do that because Rihanna deserves so much better. No offense.

It sounds pretty clear to me. The mother gave her child to this man for some reason or no reason and is equally responsible whatever has happened.

Maybe People should charge, say, $20,000,000 for a copy. They would only have to sell one.

The "shut up" in the headline is a nice touch. If I didn't think it was there to incite comments I'd be offended.

No, it doesn't always make everything okay, but yes, we do deal with things. Good luck.

Clickbait is real. It's not defined by writing something and wanting people to read it. It's defined by wanting people to read something, so you write it, or something that appears to be it. It can also mean taking a legitimate story and giving it a misleading headline that is associated with some hot issue.

The past doesn't magically vanish, though. She might hear people who don't know the situation say things that would hurt her feelings. She's probably capable of dealing with it. She dealt with this in the first place. She's a practical person.

I don't think anyone is fixated on forgiveness. It's an honest reaction. I don't think that the woman that found her mother came to the realization that she forgives her mother as easily as it would be for anyone who is not her to realize.

You have to weigh both sides. I would be for privacy in many cases but I think it was important to this woman to find her mother and, as they say, it is what it is. As pointed out by others the mother is still anonymous.

okay, we've established that the play button is a lie. next question is who has 20 hours to watch a video? ;)

Yes. Also withholding sex, to me, doesn't mean not being in the mood. It means using sex and the withholding of sex as a bargaining chip. This actually is a game. I think it's the word "dangerous" that suggests assault and it might be better to say "dishonest" or "toxic." I am gay and I've had women assume I am

"my dark hair and tattoos" draw narcissists. Noted.

I am white and I read it easily. It's basically phonetic. Fuck you.
