Oh I havent checked since earlier this year, dang. I’ll have to take a look..

Kermit’s voice is really off these days. Weren’t the original Henson stand-ins better than this?

I strongly recommend checking out onw of the snow/xmas episodes of Sesame street from the first seasons, where Bob is trying to get to work but instead gets waylaid by Oscar the Grouch, who seemingly has an infinite amount of stuff in his can he wants Bob to look at.

That one friend of Isildur - the redhead? Has the most amazingly comic/cartoon expressions throughout the series. We had many laughs freeze framing him throughout the show

This is a good take. Although I’m wondering if it was possible that Sauron “devised” the “chance” encounter on the seas. Hard to imagine how, but possibly a hole season 2 will fill in.

I agree with you, but I think there are plenty of examples in Simarillion and BoLT that show the Elves’ “maturity” doesn’t’ always align with their age.

I really liked it, and im a big Simarillion/Book of Lost Tales nerd. I think I had low expectations, but I enjoyed how they referenced and mashed up stories in a way that indicated they understood the themes/feel of those books without necessarily honoring the technical details.

Oh and Slowhorses, Stedlasso, Sfoundation, SmorningShow

I don’t 3D is an essential component of the medium, not essential enough to motivate filmmakers to use it “correctly”. It seems storytelling is adequately engaging at the 2D level, and the language of film works within, and thrives, in that format. 3D also places a degree of magnitude more requirements on the viewer.

“It’s amazingly ironic how the production of Terminator 2 required so many technological breakthroughs, that it advanced the very science it warns us against!”

If they are given the freedom to do so, yeah. Unfortunately with big budget releases, we never know if they are given control or are being interfered with, unless there are leaks, since everyone is laser focused on turning a profit. It’s only after the release we learn how production actually went down.

I much prefer seeing New York 1 reporters in those roles, anyway

You have.. an astonishing amount of feelings concerning this streaming service.

that’s a good point, although, I think Roy Cohn had an internal coherence based on self-hate.

As you should!

Unlikely!

A fucking reason, you say?

I can go further.

I feel that every several years a “horror” film like this comes out, and there’s a split of people saying it’s gross-but-awesome, or saying “if this is where we’re going, I’m done”. But it never turns out to be where it’s going, the trend stalls out.
See “Chaos”, 2005, and the review by Ebert, and the response of the

I learned about this around the same time I learned the Konami code, but it is kinda useless in world 8, where starting as small-mario is a disabling disadvantage.
