I’m a little weary of people hating on particleboard, or MDF, the variant that IKEA uses. There’s a lot to like about it. You dont want all your shit to be “real” wood, hard or soft. I’m a woodworker, and despite the fact that working with MDF is a fairly cancerous endeavour, it has a lot of advantages:
