This one is a chode though.

“Sorry officer, I didn’t know I couldn’t do that.”

6 months to get ~2500 replacement parts for cars that are in production? And then on to actually fixing the affected units...what am I missing?

Yep. Except $2.50 isn’t the new normal, it’s been the normal for the last 80 years. It’s been more volatile over the past decade, but maybe consumers are used to that.

And the teal Pistons theme, oh my!

When somebody is constantly on the gas or brake; these people do not know how to coast. These people are left-lane queens, and they get mad when the middle lane is going faster. Be careful, they might cut in! These people will tailgate you if you’re kinda taking it easy in traffic, because getting to the next line

The Honda CR-Z kind of fits that bill, but nobody liked it because it was slow and not a CR-X.

I mean, I can read the same Wikipedia articles and have a totally different interpretation. Ford = Quadricycle to profit in 7 years. Tesla = Roadster to profit in ??? Not hating on Tesla, I love the things, but the comparison is almost impossible given the different times.

Actually, Ford was hilariously profitable after just a couple years.

Our old friend Doug Demuro had similar feelings in his recent video on the G-Wagen 4x4 Squared or whatever it was.

What state? It should be like that everywhere or worse. I feel strongly that distracted driving with a cellphone should be penalized as harshly as drunk driving.

The color white has been a symbol of purity for millennia, across many cultures and religions. It’s a metaphor attempting to represent the quality of the product. Like fine, it can be seen as racist but that’s way out of context. Have fun telling me why I’m wrong.

It’s kind of the same thing as sports cards or Pokemon cards or something like that. I mean, sports cards aren’t that huge of a thing any more, but when I was growing up, a booster pack of Pokemon cards was all I ever wanted if I went shopping with my ma. But the internet and Youtube thing thing though, that’s new

I employ a pinkie move that involves grabbing the glass kinda low, then keeping the napkin/coaster down with the little finger as the other fingers separate. Still a one-handed move, no salt mess, natch.

Dauer Porsche 962 Le Mans. It’s pretty much the racing version of the car, but with a new body and interior. 730 HP road car in 1994! I saw a TV special on it when I was a kid, and it’s never left my mind.

For sure this is a thing.

Sounds like U.S. auto plants in the 60s! and 70s...and 80s and 90s...and today.

I get that, but diesel engine torque is already huge enough.

Yeah for sure. Performance-wise, it’d be righteous.

I feel that truck that barely gets used is the absolute worst use of the technology. Why would municipalities pay more for the EV? Plus, the environmental impact of fire trucks has got to be minuscule.
